Mago Forest makes his debut on TV8 and Sky Uno with the new show Gialappa’s band, “Gialappa’s Show”. A long-term bond that has existed between Gialappa and Mago Forest for ten years: “I started working with them in 2001, after nine years of intensive collaboration we have had other interludes over the years, from Mai Dire Talk to Balalaika – the magician recites the fan page. Now, as we got to work in the studio, we felt like this was the umpteenth installment of a program that started in 2001.” Speaking about his participation in the Che Tempo che fa chart, Forest expressed he also commented on Fazio’s farewell to Rai. Mago Forest admitted that he feels the weight politics has at the moment. In his opinion, however, he believes that this change will give him the opportunity to become even better.

The career
The new show with the Gialappa’s follows Forest’s presence at Fabio Fazio’s table. A career that began remotely: “I come from a small town in the province of Enna, I started as a house painter when I was 13, then I did bookkeeping, then I escaped to Milan, I worked in bars, I have started studying.” Pantomime in basements. I’ve been doing this work slowly, slowly, from pizzerias to bars, once upon a time, when there was a lightbulb, there was a show. Then slowly came Zelig, the Gialappa, recently Fazio. This is my job, which has slowly grown. It’s been a while since the phone rings because I only use the vibrate function, but let’s say I found out that one day the phone might stop ringing altogether. All things have a time, a deadline.”
