Dozens of fans arrived at Cusco’s Alejandro Velasco Astete Airport to receive Italian-Peruvian striker Gianluca Lapadula. The player first arrives in the Imperial City accompanied by his entire family.
Barristas, school children, taxi drivers and onlookers awaited the Bambino de los Andes. The player entered Cusco at an average of 6:00 a.m. last Wednesday afternoon, amid great expectations from the people of Cusco for the presence of the attacker of the national team.

Another fan even had to be very close to the airport to be there in time for the footballer’s arrival. “We have nothing to complain about, he is a player with a lot of courage and he knew how to earn the respect and affection of the Peruvian fans. I’m glad to have him in the llaqta,” he affirmed.
