Another fan even had to be very close to the airport to be there in time for the footballer’s arrival. “We have nothing to complain about, he is a player with a lot of courage and he knew how to earn the respect and affection of the Peruvian fans. I’m glad to have him in the llaqta,” he affirmed.

Gianluca Lapadula and his family arrived on Flight 2025. From afar he greeted the fans, who sang encouraging songs. The soccer player got into the vehicle that was supposed to take him to his accommodation.

In the center of the city, in front of a luxury hotel, a large contingent of people was waiting for the striker. Foreign tourists were also infected by the enthusiasm of the fans, but the footballer did not arrive.

Until the end

Many waited hours for the striker to arrive at the hotel, where word was he would be staying. However, it never got there. The fans who were expecting him left sadly. “A bit disappointed, I was expecting to see him in person after leaving and show our support,” said one fan, who was accompanied by her children.
