The singer was thrilled to join the cast of the film The 12 Labors of Imelda, in which she plays Simone. She chatted to us about her filming experience and the final moments of her sister, with whom she spends as much time as possible.

Beneath her contagious smile lies the pain of losing a loved one, her older sister Thérèse, who is living her final moments surrounded by her family. “My big sister died in palliative care. I want to spend the last moments with her before she leaves.” This difficult ordeal comes on top of the fact that she lost Huguette, her younger sister, in 2018 and her daughter Natacha underwent surgery for cancer that year. “Lately I’ve felt a little sorry for myself, I’m playing the victim a little bit. I wonder if I’ll be next. I try to get away from everything.”
