The 26-year-old influencer, who is also known for her relationship with The Maneskin’s Damiano David, shared the new diagnosis on Instagram, also showing off the latest tattoo she had done a few days before the chronic illness was discovered.
A few days ago, Giorgia Soleri received the fifth diagnosis of a disease that was already quite complex for a 26-year-old: In fact, vulvodynia and endometriosis, which she suffered from as a young girl, were not enough, according to the influencer now – also known for her relationship with Damiano The Maneskin’s David – discovered that she also suffers from a form of fibromyalgia “which is part of the big umbrella term Central Sensitivity Syndrome or even Central Sensitization,” as Soleri himself wrote in a lengthy post on Instagram.
In support of a photo showing off her latest tattoo – “Together We Are Stronger” – the author then explained to her followers her state of mind in the face of the umpteenth test that fate had in store for her, but she did it without losing the usual irony of “otherwise it’ll be over” even though we know there’s another long and painful road ahead of us now. “I would be hypocritical if I denied the mixture of fear and anger that permeated my body after yet another diagnosis. When I got home it was a little bump. Not that I didn’t expect it, but I feel like it’s already an effort just carrying my body around as if I’m always in an energy deficit ».
Today, more than ever, she is helped by the awareness that millions of women suffer from their own health problems and that speaking about them without taboos and shame is already a first step in exorcising them. “I have discovered that sharing is an enriching journey, never in one direction,” Soleri concluded in her social message. When you give something it always comes back to you and empathy, love, support, closeness, silent hugs and loud stares returned to me.
