Following news of an alleged betrayal by Bruno Gagliasso, Giovanna Ewbank took to social media to speak out. The presenter explained that the marriage was going well, that this information was not correct and pointed out the machismo that existed in this context.
“I’m going to move on with my life and let time show that it’s a lie, right?” she said, who also commented on the news of the infidelity, labeling it sexist. “So absurd that I was very impressed,” she said.

Ewbank mentioned the points that impressed her. “Three things caught my attention: First, the article said my marriage was on the rocks because Bruno had recently cheated on me. Which for the journalist and for society is superokay, supernormalized, so much so that he plays without any investigation or responsibility, right?” he emphasizes.

The actress commented on the different treatment when it comes to betrayal. “I would be insulted and called a slut, wouldn’t I? Because human betrayal is legitimized and often even encouraged,” he commented.
Another thing was the alleged information that Bruno Gagliasso sponsored the Quem Pode, Pod, Ewbank podcast with Fernanda Paes Leme. “A man would sponsor it and pay for it. “Two successful women could never be successful, right, professionally, without a man’s help, without a man paying for it, right?” he joked.
The third point mentioned was the house he bought. “I bought this apartment that I’m in here on my own so that I could live there with my children because my marriage was on the rocks, right? And since I’m a woman and bought this apartment alone, it’s obviously much smaller and less luxurious than the other properties Bruno and I have as our home,” she scoffed.
She concluded by saying that the marriage remains good and happy. “And for anyone who wants to know, for anyone who cares: I’m still very happily married, thank you very much, very happy, thank God, with my children and very successful.” That’s it, folks.
