Giovanni Allevi posted a picture of him on his Instagram profile drops behind which a sunset can be seen. “I wanted to take this photo to remember the human ability to know find beauty at any time, even those heavier‘ the composer wrote. “It’s an image that makes you tremble, but the colors of the sunset sky it melds with represent a beauty I don’t want to forget.”
Last June, the musician announced on social media that he had one Cancer. “I can’t get around it: I discovered I have one neoplasm of the sweet sound: a myeloma, but no less insidious for that.” And he confessed: “My greatest pain is the thought of inflicting pain on my family members and all the people who follow me with affection. Thanks to music, I’ve always fought my inner dragons together with you. Forgive me this time, I have to do it offstage.”
And so the composer began to undergo treatments and therapies to beat the cancer. And he thanked the fans for their affection: “The fight that took me to the deepest core of human fragility has begun. I will win it with you! I love you.”
