The musician sends a message to the fans who are close to him at this difficult time in his life and who are struggling with the disease: The composer is battling myeloma, diagnosed in June 2022
From his social profiles, the Composer shares his battle with the disease never stop striving for beauty. He had done it from the first moment, turning pain into music notes on the chart or taking pictures during his hospital stay, like the photo of a sunset reflected in the bag of medicines he was given. Now, Allevi is finding the strength to smile again and sending a new message of hope to the hundreds of thousands of people who follow him around the internet.
The same ones he felt the need to talk about his health with shortly after his myeloma diagnosis. The artist has walked away from the scene to embark on a struggle for healing, a concept he reflects on in his latest post, wearing a t-shirt depicting a book close to his heart: “For centuries healing has been a magical art, shamanic, where the talent of the alchemical physician met the full confidence of the patient who surrendered to his visions; meanwhile, science has made great progress without forgetting this past”. With these words, the composer wanted to underline the trust in professionals who know how to heal not only with medicines, but also with a smile.
