Almost a year after the split between Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady, the supermodel spoke about the new chapter in her life. In a preview of the Brazilian’s interview for CBS News Sunday Morning, Gisele admitted that she didn’t expect to get a divorce but that she doesn’t regret the decision.

The former couple, parents of two children, went through a complex period when the American football athlete retired and returned to the NFL fields just 40 days later. The result was the end of their 13year marriage. “I look at my life and wouldn’t have it any other way. If they said, ‘Could you change something in your life?’ I wouldn’t change anything,” Gisele said.

Journalist Lee Cowan then asked about the end of the relationship. “[Nossa separação] It wasn’t what I dreamed of or expected. My parents have been married for 50 years and I really wish that had happened to me. But I think you have to accept it. Sometimes you grow together, sometimes you grow apart,” he explained.

She also commented on what she wants for her ex’s future: “He is the father of my children. That’s why I always wish him the best. I am so grateful that he gave me wonderful children. And I think when one door closes, other doors open.”

Bündchen said she is at a “different point” in her life where she can focus on what she wants. “I think I was surviving before and now I’m alive, which is different,” she said with relief. The catwalk veteran revealed that her career became so stressful that she started having panic attacks. “[Eu senti como] if you were in tunnels. I couldn’t breathe. So I went to the studios and felt suffocated. “I lived on the ninth floor and had to take the stairs because I was afraid I would get stuck in the elevator and hyperventilate,” she remembers.

Bündchen and the NFL star announced the “amicable” end of their 13year marriage in October 2022. Since moving to Miami, the Brazilian has been dedicated to living a healthier life and connecting with her inner self. The former couple’s children, Ben, 13, and Vivian, 10, are adjusting to school after being homeschooled for three years. Regard:
