The actress and presenter Giselle Blondet was absent from the show La Mesa Caliente (Telemundo) for several days because her two-year-old grandson Liam was undergoing surgery “on her little heart”.
Blondet returned to entertainment on Tuesday and revealed the reason for her absence.
“Today is Virgin of Guadalupe Day and I have to say that I was absent on Friday and yesterday not because I was on vacation, but because my grandson Liam, 2 years old, was having surgery on his little heart. “A little thing that they had to remove from the esophagus area and I'll tell you more about that later,” said the presenter.
“The most important thing is the miracle that God is always so good and gives us. “Seeing my grandson who had surgery on Friday and is walking today is a beautiful thing,” he added.
The actress later shared a photo with her grandson on her social networks.
“There are loves that have no comparison. When we thought that the greatest and unconditional love here on earth was for our children, the grandchildren came,” he wrote.
“These days are dedicated to him and his speedy recovery,” Blondet added.
Giselle Blondet was born in New York in 1964, but grew up and studied in Puerto Rico.
