Cadillac is releasing the name and some images of its next electric vehicle, the Vistiq midsize SUV, which the automaker expects to slot in between the Lyriq and Escalade IQ in terms of size and price.
The three-row SUV is expected to arrive in dealerships sometime in 2025 as a 2026 model year. It will also join the entry-level Optiq model as part of Cadillac's growing range of zero-emission vehicles.

“VISTIQ adds another compelling electric vehicle to the Cadillac lineup, underscoring our commitment to an electric future,” said John Roth, vice president of Global Cadillac. “Our brand is now present in most luxury segments with electric vehicles, offering customers a wide choice. Cadillac’s electric vehicles will cover most luxury SUV segments in key global markets over the next two years.”
Aside from the name and its placement in the lineup, Cadillac isn't revealing any details about the Vistiq. As for the price, you can probably expect something in the range of $70,000 to $90,000 depending on the trim level and options list.
The Escalade IQ starts at an eye-watering $120,000, while the Lyriq starts at $64,000. And then there's the bespoke, ultra-luxurious Cadillac Celestiq, which starts at a whopping $340,000.
Like the other models, the Vistiq will be based on GM's Ultium battery platform, which is intended to be flexible and versatile with the aim of serving a wide range of vehicle types and shapes. The automaker said Ultium can support up to 200 kWh of power, which could enable a range of up to 400 miles. Escalade IQ is estimated to have a range of up to 450 miles on long-range versions of the SUV.
The Vistiq also adopts many of the design elements first found on the Lyriq, such as flush door handles and a diamond pattern on the faux grille. The side walls are notched like the Lyriq and the front and rear lights are almost identical.
As a three-row SUV, the Vistiq will compete with other mid-to-large SUVs such as the Tesla Model X (which is already showing its age), the Rivian R1S and the Kia EV9. Other upcoming three-row electric vehicles include the Lucid Gravity and the Volvo EX90.
