“Go apologize to my wife”

Bell’s wife, however, says that Peck is a “fucking liar”.

Josh Peck fired up old beef with former co-star Drake Bell.

During an appearance on the ‘BFFs’ podcast on Wednesday, the ‘How I Met Your Father’ actor shared his side of the story after they fell out publicly when Peck refused to invite Bell to his 2017 wedding to wife Paige O. ‘Brian. At the time, Bell called out Peck on social media for an apparent diss before they eventually ran into each other in person at the MTV Video Music Awards a few months later.

“I remember we were at the MTV Video Music Awards and I see him there and he sees me. apologize to my wife right now,” Peck said in a new interview. “He rushed over to my wife and I can see him apologizing for 5 whole minutes.”

Bell and Peck rose to fame together on their Nickelodeon show Drake & Josh from 2004 to 2007 before going their separate ways when the series ended. But on the day of the wedding, Peca Bell publicly revealed that she was not invited to the wedding.

“True colors came out today,” the singer wrote in a recently deleted tweet. “The message is loud and clear. Relations are officially broken. I will miss you brother.” In the podcast, the Turner & Hooch star recalled how he received angry messages from Bell on his big day.

“I’m getting married that night and I see these text messages from him like he’s cursing me and coming for me. On my wedding night,” Peck continued. “It’s crazy because it’s like, ‘Bro, it’s like we worked together at Coffee Bean when we were 16. I’m sorry I’m 31 now and I could have lost your number.’

“It was just the unfortunate way it worked. It was one of the few times in my life that I went blind and my emotions led me to this place,” Peck continued. “The dirty little secret was that I knew that Drake and I hadn’t kept in touch for ten years since we did the show. But no one needed to know. I was happy to just die with this secret that we made it that people really loved, but we weren’t that close.”

Following the release of the podcast and subsequent headlines about the interview, Bella’s wife Janet took to Instagram to applaud Peck’s versions of events. In a series of Instagram Story videos, Janet accused the actor of lying or embellishing interactions with the VMAs.

“Josh Peck is a total crap,” she began. “I am silent until a lie happens.”

“I was literally there, I heard it all. Drake was never threatened by Josh more than ever. It’s actually funny that he was a tough guy, bro, you’re not cool,” Janet said. “Besides, yes, Drake apologized, you politely asked him, you said, ‘Could you apologize to my wife?’ and Drake said, “Absolutely,” and he did, and it was great.”

“We actually hung out a few times after that,” she concluded. “We’ve talked a few times since then, so you’re a fucking liar, a fucking liar, Josh.”
