2023 Golden Globes Host, Kolman Sunday arrived at the awards in a black suit with studded diamonds. The doublebreasted suit, made exclusively for him by Dolce & Gabbana, was shown to the public for the first time on Tuesday evening (10).
In an interview with Laverne Cox, who directs the show’s red carpet, the actor praised the partnership with the brand and explained his goal with the look: “I wanted to look like a black diamond.”
Raúl Domingo, Colman’s husband, walked the red carpet dressed to match his partner, also in all black but sans the crystals.

Golden Globes no broadcast
The Golden Globe returns in 2023 after a spate of complaints Los Angeles Times two years earlier, which revealed a preference for white voters in the awards no black votes between 2002 and 2021 and corruption of its members. In 2021, audiences considered the award a “failure,” and the following year it wasn’t even televised.
Despite controversy changes that came after criticism from public opinion, the TNT Brazil announced that it would not broadcast the award this year. For this year, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), which administers the Golden Globes, announced that it admitted 103 new voters from 62 countries outside the United States, bringing the electorate to 200.
According to NBC, the overall Golden Globe constituency is now 52% female and 51.5% nonwhite, with 19.5% of the members being Hispanic, 12% Asian, 10% Black, and 10% Middle Eastern.
