Awards season is now on! Because the Golden Globes will take place this Sunday, the 7th, in the 81st edition of the ceremony. The event is organized by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) and will be shown again in the US on CBS in 2024. It is broadcast in Brazil on TNT and HBO Max from 10 p.m. Brazilian time.

The Golden Globe recognizes film and television talent and is a great barometer for keeping track of the works being recognized throughout the year. Highlights included the film “Barbie” and the HBO series “Succession,” both of which received 9 nominations each. Among the series, “The Bear” and “Only Murders in the Building” were the names that appeared most often on the list of nominees, with five categories each.
