“Sitting on the other side of the podium is definitely going to be different and a bit nerve wracking, but that’s what we do as entertainers, we’re always trying new things and taking on new challenges, which keeps the adrenaline pumping and the excitement going. “.’

Speaking of his preferred work attire, Duncan added: “I want to look really smart, so definitely a blazer, a nice shirt and trousers and a pair of nice shoes, but definitely not as colorful as Richard Arnold!”

“I like a lot of neutrals so I think that’s what I’m going to go for.” “I’m going to check out Ben Shephard’s Instagram today and have a look for inspiration, he always looks pretty chic.”

While Duncan is no stranger to hosting – he’s hosted TV shows including Soapstar Superstar, Pop City Live and Entertainment Today on GMTV – it will be his first time hosting alongside the main presenters, but he said he’s looking forward to the quip .

He continued, “I think what I’m looking forward to the most is the natural banter that will go on air with the hosts.”

“I know I’ll be on the air with Kate Garraway and Richard Madeley for a few days and I absolutely love Kate, I’ve known her a long time.”

“When I found out I was going to be with her, I was really excited. She’s just one of those people, you just feel safe when you’re around her.

“Even when I told my mom about this performance, she was more excited about the Kate element than my actual presentation.”
