Google Pixel 8 from E649 and up to E100 more

Google Pixel 8: from €649 and up to €100 more expensive – TomsHardware

Google’s next smartphone can expect many improvements, but this progress has its price: between 50 and 100 € more depending on the model.

According to current information, the Google Pixel 8 will be up to 100 euros more expensive than the Google Pixel 7, depending on the range:

  • Pixel 7 (128GB) for €599 / Pixel 8 (128GB) for €649
  • Pixel 7 (256GB) for €699 / Pixel 8 (256GB) for €699
  • Pixel 7 Pro (128GB) for €799 / Pixel 8 Pro (128GB) for €899
  • Pixel 7 Pro (256GB) for €899 / Pixel 8 Pro for 7 (256GB) €949

A price increase that isn’t that surprising considering that the competition can show some higher increases, such as the future iPhone 15, which could be up to €200 more expensive.

A higher price but new improvements: new processor, better autonomy, Wi-Fi 7, …

This increase would follow the numerous improvements made to both the Google Pixel and Google Pixel Pro 8 ranges:

There were also other changes:

  • A 6.17-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate;
  • A 50 MP main optical sensor with Samsung’s GN2 sensor and optical image stabilization (OIS);
  • A 4485mAh battery.

Most of this information comes directly from Google, but unofficially. They are for hindsight as they will not be confirmed while waiting for an official announcement for the Google Pixel 8 release, which could come from autumn 2023.
