The design doesn’t change much between the Google Pixel 7 Pro and the new Google Pixel 8 Pro. In fact, the Pixel 8 Pro also offers a strip on the back for integrating the photo sensors. What are the differences between screens and photo sensors?
The new Google Pixel 8 Pro smartphone, like the previous model, has a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels, compatible with HDR10+. It is characterized by a refresh rate that can drop to 1 Hz from the previous 10 Hz and increase to a maximum of 120 Hz for smooth scrolling. Otherwise, for taking a selfie, the Pixel 8 Pro has a 10.5 megapixel sensor compared to 10.8 megapixels on the Pixel 7 Pro.
Are there differences in performance and connectivity?
Yes, the Google Pixel 8 Pro is more powerful than the Pixel 7 Pro as it has the latest Google Tensor G3 chipset. The two Google smartphones have 12 GB of RAM and offer 128 or 256 GB or even 512 GB for more storage space. In terms of connectivity, both are 5G compatible and offer Wi-Fi 6E with the option to upgrade to Wi-Fi 7 once the update is available.
