Gordon Ramsay has broken his silence after becoming a father for the sixth time earlier this month.
The 57-year-old celebrity chef welcomed his son Jesse James and his wife Tana, 49, into the world on his birthday, November 8th.
Gordon told “Entertainment Tonight” of the newcomer: “Extraordinary. “Really extraordinary, just blessed.”
The TV star went on to joke that he’ll be the oldest parent in school when it’s time for Jesse to start classes, so he plans to dress up.
He added: “I’m also sure I’ll be the oldest dad when I drop it off at school, so I’m keeping my hat and glasses on.”

The couple are already parents to Megan (25), twins Holly and Jack (23), Tilly (22) and Oscar (4).
Gordon made the surprise announcement earlier this month that Tana – who he married in 1996 – had given birth to their son.
In a post on November 11, three days after his 57th birthday, the chef wrote on Instagram: “What an amazing birthday present, please say hello to Jesse James Ramsay, 7lb 10oz, massive!!!” Another bundle of love the Ramsay Brigade!! 3 boys, 3 girls…. Completed’
The Hell’s Kitchen star shared the news along with a series of adorable pictures of the family in the hospital.
Gordon was soon flooded with congratulatory messages from other faces in the comments section of the post.
Wolverine star Hugh Jackman wrote: “Congratulations mate!” while Paris Fury – who is married to boxing champion Tyson Fury and has seven children with him – sent her best wishes.
She wrote: “Congratulations to you all.” I was thinking recently that it can’t be much longer. Best blessings xxxx’
The couple, who married in 1996, kept Tana’s recent pregnancy a secret.
Good news: Gordon shared the announcement on Instagram earlier this month
In September, Gordon admitted he was pressured by Tana to have a sixth child, but said he was against the idea.
Speaking to Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett on the Dish podcast, Gordon confessed: “I have a little secret… Tana wants another one.”
However, he admitted he was reluctant to have another child, saying the family needed “two buses” and that he was older than the other parents at the school.
He said, “It’s like going to school and eating on two buses.” And secondly, I’ll be the oldest in the school. “Who’s your grandpa?”
“And what about sports day? The egg and spoon race. What should I do? Well, I would like another one, but no.’
Tana previously admitted that she wants more children in 2021, telling Hello! Magazine: “You know, the problem is that I love babies so much, but I think I’ll still be saying that when I’m 70!”
However, she added: “I don’t think there will ever be a time where I’ll be like, ‘Oh my God, never, never, ever again’.”
“But let’s just say I count my blessings and think I’m incredibly lucky. “I’m just enjoying every single moment of it.”
