My tribute today is to Edson, to whom I was married for 14 years, I had two children, Josh and Celeste, but we raised three because Gemima, the daughter of my first marriage, was the daughter of his heart. He loved and raised with the same affection as all his children.

“For this father who, despite his frequent absences, through his travels and constant commitments, tried to be as present as possible in the important moments of our lives, birthdays, Christmas, school events, my events … He had a generous heart and very generous in every way… He was playful, he loved telling jokes and singing,” he added.

The singer says she is going through a difficult time due to the loss of someone special in her life and stands by her children who support her in the moment of pain.

“Despite the longing and pain we are feeling right now, my children and I are comforted with the knowledge that one day we will meet him. He is now in the arms of the Father, face to face with the King of kings, Jesus. It’s not goodbye. We will meet him one day. Thank you Edson for everything you have done for me and our children and see you later”, ended.
