On Thursday 3 November, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen will receive Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni at the Berlaymont building on her first visit to Brussels. This was announced by the Leyens spokesman Eric Mamer.
Giorgia Meloni will also meet European Council President Charles Michel in Brussels on the same day.
Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, her press office announced, will be in Brussels for a meeting with the heads of the European institutions. Upcoming international commitments also include: on Monday 7th and Tuesday 8th November the COP27 Heads of State and Government Summit in Sharm El-Sheikh, then on Tuesday 15th and Wednesday 16th November the G20 Summit in Bali.
In response to a question about the meeting between Ursula von der Leyen and Giorgia Meloni next Thursday, EU Commission spokesman Eric Mamer said: “What the President expects is good cooperation by the authorities in view of the many challenges that await us, especially in the field of energy “.
