She wrote: “I am overwhelmingly sad at the moment but determined to keep alive in my heart the major personal breakthroughs I have made over the weeks.”
“I spent 15 days without a phone or contact with my loved ones and spent most of the time outside in the rainforest in very wet weather. It gave me a brief, sharp insight into the pain that some people around the world endure. Normal life will feel beautiful forever.’
Referring to the Bushtucker Trials in which she took part, Grace continued: “Until now I had no idea that I could find a mental space where I could calmly climb down the side of a skyscraper and then slide out on a pole and could unlock stars. as the cars felt the size of ants on the road below.
“I had no idea that it was possible to be shown an American football helmet and be told that I would shortly be locked up by the neck and filled up to my eyebrows with cockroaches and that I could think, ‘Okay , that’s doable, the trick is “breathe”.’
She also referenced the infamous moment in camp when a live cockroach got stuck in her ear after an attempt, admitting: “As long as I live, I will be the cockroach that entered my ear canal and the sound of its little feet never forget.” creeps closer to my brain. It took us two tries to lure him out. He sat on the grass behind the “Scarena” and finally washed himself off.
“The jungle showed me how quickly I could become indifferent when sleeping with hungry rats, noisy toads, moths and huntsman spiders.” “It taught me that the trick is to stay calm and have empathy when you have to sleep near the enemy, and that shouting is nothing but a waste of calories.”
After fans expressed concern about Grace’s health in the final days of the show, she admitted she was surprised by her physical strength, writing: “The Jungle showed me that I’m physically stronger than I thought; I can carry lots of logs and water up the mountain, make fires, and eat rabbit giblets for breakfast at dawn.
“I hope I gave you all a smile.” I didn’t go out as planned or wanted, but I did what I could with a siren red gel manicure without chipping a nail. I didn’t cry when I took off my bra and discovered a family of mealworms in the right basket. In some ways this HAS to be an achievement.”

She lost her father George in 2022 after a battle with dementia, while her mother Grace died in February 2021 after a battle with cancer.
Grace said: “My mother and father died very close together in recent years. My mom had cancer for a long time, but she was too busy to die because she had too many things to buy on QVC.
“My mom literally ordered shit out of QVC on her deathbed, I literally let district nurses in with morphine and then someone from Yodel said, ‘I have too many handbags and a watch!’ I thought Mom, where are you going? There is no best-dressed person in heaven!’
She continued: “It would be nice to see my mother and father again if they weren’t well. “I would give anything to go back into the living room when I was 50 or 60 and they were well, thriving on.
“They probably argued and just made me make tea and toast and sit with them and watch bloody TV… My family just sat down and beat each other up, that.” Was love… One of the The saddest thing about your family’s aging is that the last 10 to 15 years have simply taken that away from you.

Web has revealed Grace has turned down all TV appearances and interviews to fly on holiday to leave her jungle “hell” behind her (pictured flying home on Monday).
Co-star Jamie Lynn Spears, 32, is expected to do the same as the couple have no contractual obligations to fulfill their media duties after leaving the ITV show for “medical reasons”.
Sources close to the 50-year-old food critic told Web that Grace simply wants to “forget” her I’m A Celeb experience and get as far away from jungle life as possible.
Grace left the series on Monday after it was “mutually agreed” between her and the network that she would leave the competition due to her visible mental and physical decline.
Days later, Britney Spears’ tearful sister Jamie Lynn also left the show amid growing questions about the celebrity contestants’ health and safety.
A source told Web: “Grace has decided not to make any more TV appearances or interviews after leaving the jungle.”
Co-star Jamie Lynn Spears is expected to do the same as the couple have no contractual obligations to fulfill their media duties after leaving the ITV show for “medical reasons”.
“Instead, she goes on vacation, hoping to relax and forget about the time at camp, which was extremely difficult for her.”
“She will address her fan base with an Instagram post on Thursday, but other than that she doesn’t want to talk about her experiences yet.”
“Given that celebrities who leave the show for medical reasons are not contracted to appear on Good Morning Britain or This Morning, it is expected that Jamie Lynn will not address their departure either.”
“It is very disappointing for ITV, who had hoped that Jamie Lynn, as this season’s top new recruit, would be giving post-show interviews, but that seems very unlikely.”
Despite leaving I’m A Celeb, both contestants will receive their lucrative fees back in full.
