Likewise, during the awards celebration, tributes were paid to the late drummer Taylor Hawkins on two occasions: the first time by Billie Eilish, who wore a t-shirt with the Foo Fighters member’s face printed on it during her presentation; and the second in a space that also commemorates all the artists who have left in recent years.
Another highlight in Grammy’s 2022 was the message from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who called for peace amid the conflict his country is going through with Russia. “Our children are shooting rockets and not seeing stars, more than 400 children have died and we will never see them paint,” the president said.
