Gray Cup Champions: A Docu-Reality Dedicated to the Alouettes will air in 2024 on TVA and TVA Sports

Quebecers will be able to witness from the inside the Montreal Alouettes’ incredible victory in the 110th Gray Cup final last Sunday thanks to a docu-reality currently being filmed.

The Fair Play team, who directed this original production in collaboration with Quebecor Content, were present in Hamilton to capture all the excitement surrounding this last-minute Birds triumph at the expense of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on 28-24.

TVA and TVA Sports will air the eight half-hours ordered by TVA Group in 2024, produced by Brian Desgagné. The official title has not been released yet.

The series will provide “privileged and unprecedented access” both to the players – both during games, in training and in their daily lives – and to the organization that relaunched the Montreal franchise and managed to take the Alouettes to the to make champions of the Canadian Football League. It’s been 13 years since the Gray Cup returned to Montreal. We will see all the emotions the Alouettes experience during the wins and losses, a season that is not a long, smooth river for any team.

Images were captured throughout the playoffs and filming is also planned for next training camp and the 2024 season.

Wednesday’s parade will be broadcast on TVA and TVA Sports

Remember that this Wednesday the Alouettes will parade on the Boulevard de Maisonneuve Ouest for the first time in 13 years. This special event will be hosted by Charles-Antoine Sinotte and will be presented starting at 11 a.m. on TVA, TVA+, TVA Sports, LCN and the jdem.com, jdeq.com and tvasports.ca websites.

The parade itself must start at 11:30 a.m. and last 45 minutes, from the intersection of Crescent Street and de Maisonneuve Boulevard West to the Quartier des Spectacles.
