Gregg Wallace has stunned fans after revealing his typical weekend routine.
The MasterChef judge, 59, revealed his usual weekend antics in The Telegraph's My Saturday column, revealing how he fills his day between waking up early and going to bed at 8pm.
When Gregg reveals that he doesn't allow himself to sleep in on weekends, he starts reading at 5 a.m. before making himself a cup of coffee and checking the enrollment numbers for my health program.
However, there is no more time to rest as he has to stick to his five-day-a-week training regime, and reveals that he has persuaded the staff to open the gym half an hour early for him every weekend so that he can swim privately and in can go to the sauna.
Once the public arrives (at the right time), Gregg makes his way to the treadmills, where he works toward his goal of 50,000 steps per week but insists there will be “no sweating.”

He remarked: “I'm 12 stone now.” [having lost five stone] and I have less than 18 percent body fat and a six-pack abs, but I have a bloated stomach. I guess we all have our imperfections.'
After working up an appetite but not breaking a sweat, breakfast is next on the to-do list. Gregg meets his assistant at the local Harvester for breakfast – bacon, sausage and fried eggs.
Although he admitted that people are often surprised to see him at the budget chain restaurant, he has “never been disappointed” with the food and particularly likes the grilled chicken and salad bar.
In contrast, he noted that he was disappointed by the food on offer at several three-star Michelin restaurants across Europe.
Over breakfast, the conversation with his assistant turns to business as they juggle his MasterChef filming, his wellness business and the new health and wellness podcast, A Piece of Cake.
Speaking about his new healthy living podcast, Gregg said: “I love chatting with experts, but I'm also quite an expert as I've been journaling, manifesting, setting goals and reading self-help books for years.”
Apparently blessed with a high metabolism, lunch arrives just an hour and a half after the roast, with Gregg's wife Anna, 38, ensuring lunch is on the table when he gets home at midday.
After lunch, he has a lot of time with his four-year-old son Sid, who has nonverbal autism but has “started to seek company and make eye contact.”
Gregg, who has two adult children Tom, 29, and Libby, 26, with his ex-wife Denise, spoke openly about his relationship with his youngest child: “Now that I'm older, I'm a much better father. “I wouldn’t have chosen another child at my age.
“I've always been very honest with Anna, but it's what she wanted and I love her.” “I only asked for two things – that we have help around the house (for her mother to move in) and secondly, that we at least “We have one week a year when it’s just the two of us on vacation.”

After an hour and a half of time with Sid, Gregg allows himself two hours of time with me.
An “amateur historian” and video game fan, he likes to lock himself in his home office at 3 p.m. and play Total War Saga: Thrones of Britannia, set in 878 AD.
After leading the Norsemen, Saxons and Gaels to victory, he then sets about preparing dinner for his family.
The restaurateur and former greengrocer revealed that Anna takes on the main duties in the kitchen as he only cooks for his family once a week, usually a grilled fish dish from the fishmonger.
He also has a penchant for making his own “healthy” cheeseburgers, since takeout is banned under his health reform bill.
Alcohol consumption is also restricted, Gregg drinks twice a week, usually starting with a pint, then a wine, then a whiskey or brandy, but is careful not to “drink to excess anymore”.
After his long day, bedtime is early at 8 p.m., where he and Anna either read or watch a movie on his laptop because Gregg “tried sitting on the sofa and eating cookies” but didn't find it “fulfilling.”
Sleep usually comes at 9 p.m.

“Gregg Wallace tells the world that his child was unplanned and spends more time playing computer games (two hours) than with his autistic son (an hour and a half). If I commented on that with my feelings, Twitter would ban me.'
