Gretchens exhusband and Power Couple star Carlos Marques has died

Gretchen’s exhusband and “Power Couple” star Carlos Marques has died at the age of 60

This Friday (12), Portuguese businessman Carlos Marques, Gretchen’s exhusband, died of leukemia. The news was confirmed on social media by Jenny Miranda, the singer’s daughter. Carlos and Gretchen took part in “Power Couple Brasil” together on Record TV in 2016. He was also one of the stars of the reality show Os Gretchens on Multishow.

The artist and businessman dated for seven years. The split was announced in January 2020, with both declaring their love has blossomed into a “beautiful and everlasting friendship”.

In the report, Jenny honors the businessman and refers to Gretchen as her exmother since they no longer speak to each other. “You were the father I never had. For those who haven’t had the pleasure of meeting him, Carlos was married to my exmother for seven years, who everyone already knows who she is. Anyway I will never forget everything you taught me and all the moments my kids and I shared with you! One day we will meet. Now you’re with the good guys. Watch over us from up there,” he wrote.

“We must value the people we love, putting aside arguments, nitpicks and pride, because today we are here, tomorrow we may not be. And when the person is gone, there is no point in crying, we must live together and love in life, not only when the coffin comes down!” he concluded.

Jenny also spoke to Stories about the death of her former stepfather, grieving the loss and explaining she tried to get in touch with Marques: “He had me for a daughter. He was married to my exmother and everyone knows the affection and respect we had for him and for my family. When I came back from Indonesia, I lived with him in Portugal for three months while my exmother was on tour. I had been trying to reach him for some time but he had changed his number. We had been separated for some time for some reason and now the news has reached me that he has passed away. I just got the news and have been dreaming about him for a while.

In addition to praising the businessman she was very close to, she also left advice for the public. “He was a wonderful person. He helped me a lot, he had me as a daughter even though I wasn’t his daughter. He took care of me. I stayed with him in Portugal for three months and we had a routine. At 7 p.m. we sat down for dinner. Then we watched a film, every day you chose one. Good memories only. Give value to what you have today because life is like a breath. Put pride aside because it doesn’t lead anyone anywhere,” he concluded. Regard:
