Popular Rebelde actress Grettell Valdez has announced that she is undergoing surgery chemotherapy after part of his finger was amputated after discovering it cancer. However, far from regretting the situation, she is confident that she will overcome this disease with flying colors.
“My finger is getting better and better, the truth is I was in very good hands, my surgeon did wonders. It almost doesn’t hurt anymore, they’ve already done my first radiation, it’s going to be three, and then I’ll start my chemotherapy,” said the Mexican.
Likewise, Grettell Valdez confessed that it is a virus that she has on her finger: “Fortunately, we already know what it is. It’s a virus, it’s a wart that I have inside me that’s expanding, which is a virus that converts cancer, so I’m already at peace, we already know what it is,” the actress told the show ‘hoy’.
On the other hand, he said he prefers to have his finger removed before the cancer spreads in his body. “Yes, they removed a large part of my finger, but I don’t care,” he concluded.
Grettell Valdez: “No one in my family has cancer”
In 2018 the actress Gretel Valdez revealed he has cancer in his left thumb but was surprised to receive his diagnosis as no member of his family has the condition.
“Mine was honestly one in a million,” he told Class magazine that year. “That means it was a wound that transformed. No one in my family has this disease, neither my mother nor my father, so it was very unfortunate,” he added.
When cancer ceased to be a threat in his life, he chose not to bring it up again. “That was in the past, it was yesterday, so I can say it today, I can say it,” he continued.
“I know how it feels, I know what’s happening, the fears, the anguish that you’re experiencing in that moment, because the word is very strong, the situation is very strong,” he said.
