Grimes sues Elon Musk after he says he won’t let her ‘see my son’

According to the New York Post, Grimes is suing Elon Musk to establish a “parental relationship” with one of her three children. Details of the lawsuit remain under wraps, but TMZ speculates that it involves her youngest child, Tau, after Grimes said Musk would not allow her to visit any of her children.

Last month, Grimes posted on X – the website formerly known as Twitter – that she was taking legal action against Musk. “Tell Elon to let me see my son or please respond to my lawyer,” she wrote in a response to Walter Isaacson, who was promoting his biography of the Tesla CEO.

The lawsuit, filed Sept. 29 in California, seeks to identify the child’s legal parents if they are not married. A “Motion to Determine Parental Relationship” can also be used to claim child support, pregnancy expenses, and custody. The post states that the Grimes have not asked for custody or child support, but TMZ speculates that this could be a next step. Musk has not yet responded, according to reports.

Musk and Grimes welcomed their first son in 2020. A few months after the separation, they had a daughter as a surrogate in 2021. Isaacson revealed in his Musk biography that the two welcomed a third child in 2022. In 2021, Musk had twins with Shivon Zilis, an executive at Neuralink, one of Musk’s companies; According to Isaacson’s book, he didn’t tell Grimes about the twins when they were born.
