Netflix viewers were left hot after watching a racy scene in Griselda, played by heartthrob Martín Rodríguez.
Griselda tells the true story of Griselda Blanco, a Colombian drug lord who founded one of the most profitable cartels in history in the 1970s and 1980s and is played by Sofia Vergara, 51.
And Martin, 45, plays “charming sociopath” and convicted hitman Jorga “Rivi” Ayala, who cut a deal with prosecutors in Miami-Dade County in 1998 to testify against his boss so he could avoid the death penalty.
When Griselda sees Rivi in prison after he betrays her, she reminds him of a conversation in which he said to her, “I think we were lovers in a past life.”
He told her, “That doesn’t mean I’ll die for you in this case.”
Fans said Griselda's Martín Rodríguez left them sweating after seeing him star as “charming sociopath” Rivi Ayala in THIS WILD phone sex scene
In the six-parter, Rivi was seen having very hot phone sex from prison with the district attorney's secretaries – all calls were recorded, meaning his testimony as a witness was deemed inadmissible
Jorge “Rivi” Ayala-Rivera (portrayed on the left in the Netflix show and on the right in real life) was Griselda's assassin

In the six-parter, Rivi was seen having very hot phone sex from prison with the district attorney's secretaries, all of which was recorded.
This was a smart move on his part because it meant his testimony was deemed inadmissible, which helped get Blanco's multiple murder charges reduced from first to second degree.
There is no doubt that Rivi's crimes were terrible in real life. He killed the two-year-old son of former enforcer Jesus “Chacho” Castro and is believed to be responsible for about three dozen murders.
But Netflix gave some artistic license and sensationalized the phone sex scene to titillate viewers… and it seems to have worked.
Fans wrote: “In the Griselda Netflix series, Rivi really looked like he was the Colombian version of Prince. 'Trash lol.'
“I watched the show Griselda because Rivi is so hot.”
“Whoever dressed Rivi in Griselda needs an award today because he looked so good in every episode…like that was my HUSBAND.”
“When Rivi said to Griselda, 'I always had the feeling that you and I were lovers in a past life,' I just…”
The real Adonis: Without the curly hair and with a full beard, Martin looks worlds different than his character

Speaking about his character, Martin told Today: “First I had to trust the character and defend him.” “He had a complex personality and was conflicted in his behavior.”
In real life, Rivi was arrested in connection with a banking job in Chicago in 1993, leading police to identify him as Griselda's enforcer.
And just like in the series, Ayala had phone sex with two secretaries who worked in the Miami-Dade district attorney's office, and when that fact became known, he lost his perceived credibility as a witness against Griselda.
He pleaded guilty to three counts of murder and is currently serving 31 years to life in prison.
Martin is also known for his roles in Leo's Room and Zanahoria.
While Rivi's crimes were horrific, fans are completely amazed by the actor who plays him after watching him perform a wild phone sex scene

Does Griselda on Netflix glorify narco culture?
Social media users have complained that the series glorifies Griselda's violent story.
On TikTok, a Colombian content creator named Velu said, “I'm watching Griselda after reading the true story and the terrible things this woman did and knowing that a lot of people will glorify her story.”
Elsewhere, Colombia's Velu said there were “better stories to tell” despite Sofia Vergara's impressive performance.
“Real people have died because of her and she does not represent Colombian values. “Colombians are much more than that,” she concluded.
Velu summed up her thoughts in the caption: “Sofia Vergara did a great job with her performance. But we have better stories to tell.”
Elsewhere, Colombia's Kevin Figman also took to TikTok to express similar thoughts.
Colombian Kevin Figman said the Netflix series would promote a negative stereotype about his country
He said: “Unfortunately this is a reputation and a stereotype that we have to live with these days as Colombia is always associated with narcos and drugs, even if Colombia is not really like that anymore.”
“The city of Medellin is now one of the safest cities in all of Latin America,” he added.
Kevin called for a more diverse range of films about Latin America because “Encanto was the only film we got that wasn't about drugs.”
“If we continue to consume such things, they will continue to be manufactured,” he concluded.
