Journalist Chris Klippel, often a trusted source when it comes to Rockstar Games, reported that fans shouldn’t be disappointed with the next installment in the franchise. Grand Theft Autodue to the new version of the graphics engine used by the studio.

In Twitter postSubmitted by GamesRadar, Klippel stated that the new version of Rockstar Games’ graphics engine (RAGE9) rumored to be used for GTA 6 “[risquait] be pretty incredible. He then added that he had “received very positive feedback” and that fans should “really not be disappointed on that point.”
“We’re talking about an engine ahead of its time,” he concluded.
We would like to remind you that the old version of Rockstar’s graphics engine was used to develop an extensive list of studio hits such as Red Dead Redemption 2, GTA 5 and Max Payne 3. And we know very well that when these games were released they were acclaimed for their stunning graphics.
However, Rockstar Games remains stingy with news about GTA 6, having only announced the existence of a sequel last February and this development was already in full swing.

Rockstar Games quietly released a patch Tuesday that included changes to the version of Grand Theft Auto 5 for the new generation of consoles. Players have also noticed that new files have been added to the PC version of the game, which could indicate that next-gen enhancements will be available there soon as well.
Among the improvements, some stand out more than others:
- The option to turn off “Motion Blur”;
- Added new options to hide activities on the map;
- Nightclub earnings are finally boosting on PC and Console;
- Fixed an issue that was causing the transition from Story Mode to GTA Online to take a long time.
Despite the fact that the game is 10 years old, the developers are still putting a lot of work into GTA 5. The complete list of elements of update 1.56 can be seen on the Rockstar Games website.
