Guillaume Pineault surpasses 50,000 tickets sold

A few months after the end of his first solo tour, comedian Guillaume Pineault has just received a plaque for selling 50,000 tickets. ” I’m so happy ! starts the one who had to wait two years to start his show due to the pandemic.

Guillaume Pineault, who regularly looks at the numbers from his tour, knew that the milestone of 50,000 tickets sold was approaching. When asked if he’s happy with the turn his show has taken since launch, the comedian replies positively.

“We were going to leave the show for two years and the pandemic has been a huge barrier. But when we left, it was great. We always have nice rooms. We have a super open-minded audience. »

Last September, the comedian publicly announced that he was splitting from his girlfriend Anne-Élisabeth Bossé. This break “forced” him to change the ending of his show.

“After that, people started texting me that my show was really touching and motivating,” he says.

Having completed his tour in June, Guillaume Pineault will immediately begin work on his next show. “I told my team I didn’t want to take a break,” he said. […] I can already confirm that there won’t be a few anecdotes in my second show! I think I’ve surfed about it enough. [rires] »
