The actor Goûchy Boy couldn’t digest the fact that he was found guilty of sexually assaulting a woman he met on the film set and made a scene in the middle of the courtroom while protesting his innocence.

“I didn’t do that! I didn’t do that!” shouted the defendant, whose real name is Ugochukwu Chijoke Onyechekwa.
Judge Christian Jarry had just found him guilty of a 2018 sexual assault at a Brossard motel.
He met the victim on a film set. If their relationship had become close quickly, it had fallen apart just as quickly.
So much so that the woman, whose identity is protected by a publication ban, had broken off all contact with him.

But when she learned he had been hospitalized, she went to his bedside. A few days later they went to a motel.
The man, who became known for his role as prison guard Koffi Yatabéré in the popular TV series Unit 9, was aggressive and angry. She was therefore in a state of “panic” and cried. In response, he asked her to stop “being a baby” so he could “fuck her,” she testified during the trial.
“You need to sit down.”
This is where the sexual assault occurred. He asked her to lie next to him and penetrated her despite her refusal. He continued even after she complained of pain.
In sentencing him for this attack, Judge Jarry considered a telephone conversation recorded by the victim in which she accused him of his heinous actions.
Goûchy Boy was confronted with serious accusations for almost two minutes and remained silent before apologizing. “I’ll catch up [I’m gonna make it right]”, he said.
But after the 52-year-old was sentenced this morning at the Longueuil courthouse, he did not remain silent. It broke out in the middle of the courtroom.
“I didn’t do that,” he repeated, standing up and screaming.
“Sir, you must sit down or you will be locked up,” the judge warned as his lawyer, Ms. Kristina Markovic, tried to calm and silence her client.
Ugochukwu Chijoke Onyechekwa was acquitted of false imprisonment and criminal harassment. He is due back in court next March for sentencing.
He must undergo another trial for sexual offenses involving a plaintiff who was a minor at the time of the crimes he was accused of.
