Marbelle.
Colombian President Gustavo Petro assured this Tuesday that he would sue the singer Marbelle for alleged harassment of his youngest daughter Antonella on social networks, where he suggested that she was a street dweller.
“Being a street dweller is not something that should be stigmatized, but harassing and molesting a minor is a very ignorant nonsense,” the president said on the social network X.
Petro and his family invited a group of homeless people to lunch at the Casa de Nariño, the headquarters of the executive branch, on December 24th.

According to Petro, this is not the first time that his daughter has been attacked, as an unusual protest against the president took place on November 16 at the Metropolitan Stadium in Barranquilla, where the public attended the 2026 World Cup qualifying match between Colombia and Brazil, demanding the Resignation of the President, who was not affected by this scenario.
“Out with Petro, out with Petro,” thousands of stadium-goers chanted before the start of Colombia’s game against Brazil, leading Antonella to withdraw from the Metropolitano.
“Some spectators of the football match in Barranquilla can be excused for perhaps not knowing that they were harassing a minor, but here it is done with intent,” said the president this Tuesday, referring to the news from Marbelle.
In this sense, Petro added: “My daughter has asked me for legal action and on behalf of the children of Colombia I must pursue it.”
The director of the Colombian Institute for Family Welfare (ICBF), Astrid Liliana Cáceres, made the organization's law firm available to the president “for whatever is relevant.”
Marbelle, known for songs such as “Collar de Perlas” and “Amor Sincere (Endúlzame que soy café)”, is an ardent opponent of the president and even threatened to leave Colombia if Petro won the 2022 elections.
