Gwyneth Paltrow pays moving tribute to her ex Matthew Perry as she recalls how they “kissed in a field of tall grass” during the “magical summer” before Friends aired.

Gwyneth Paltrow recalls the romantic moment she shared with her ex-star Matthew Perry as she joined many celebrities in paying tribute to the star after his death at the age of 54.

The 51-year-old Oscar winner recalled kissing him “in a field of tall grass” during a “magical summer” they spent together, just before he found fame on “Friends.”

“I met Matthew Perry at the Williamstown Theater Festival in Massachusetts in 1993,” she remembers. “We were both there most of the summer doing plays.”

The Emma star remembered him as “so funny and so sweet and so much fun to be with,” as she hinted their relationship was more than friendly.

“We went out to swim in creeks, drank beers at the local college bar and kissed in a field of tall grass,” she revealed, adding, “It was a magical summer.”
