The murderous ex-boyfriend of gypsy Rose Blanchard – who fatally plunged a knife into her mother – referred to himself as “Mr. Smiley” and refused to mention his famous former girlfriend in a bizarre email to The Post on Wednesday — days after her new documentary aired.
“I want people to know that I'm not getting lost in the ether of everything that's going on and who shall remain unnamed, I'm just waiting for my real time to talk :-),” wrote Nicholas Godejohn, 34, from the Potosi Correctional Center in Mineral Point, Missouri.
Godejohn has been a mother since Blanchard was released from prison on parole last month for convincing him to kill her mother after years of medical abuse.

The couple's high-profile crimes were detailed in the HBO documentary “Mommy Dead and Dearest” and in the Hulu scripted series “The Act.”
Before the murder, Blanchard's mother, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard, forced her to pretend she had leukemia, muscular dystrophy and a variety of other illnesses.
Blanchard met Godejohn on a Christian dating site in 2012 and hid in a bathroom as he fatally stabbed her mother, prosecutors said.

During Godejohn's trial, Blanchard testified that she persuaded him to stab her abusive mother.
Since her release, Blanchard has appeared in a number of high-profile interviews and appeared on a red carpet with her husband, Ryan Anderson, whom she met in prison.
In a comment on Anderson's Instagram, she gushed about her sex life.
“Plus they're jealous because you rock my world every night,” she said of the “haters” who posted rude comments on his social media.
“Yes, I said it, the D is fire…happy wife, happy life.”

When asked by The Post what Godejohn thought about her newfound fame, marital escapades and life behind bars, he said: “I have to be conscientious in my decisions.”
“Many of these questions will be answered in a predictable interview at the right time, which is not now :-).”
In the email, Godejohn appeared polite and childlike, using smiley faces six times during the 109-word correspondence.
“Stay positive, healthy and safe, Mr. Vago :-),” he said, referring to a Post reporter at the end of the exchange.
“True sincerity, Nicholas (Mr. Smiley) Godejohn.”
Meanwhile, Blanchard's new Lifetime documentary “The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard” aired Sunday, in which she accused Godejohn of raping her after he killed her mother.
“Since I wouldn’t let him rape my mother, I had to agree to let him rape me,” she claimed.
“After Nick killed my mother, he told me to go to my bedroom and remove all the stuffed animals from my bed. I knew he would have sex with me,” she claimed.
Godejohn remains behind bars with a life sentence for first-degree murder and is banned from having contact with Blanchard.
Last week, his lawyer filed an appeal for a new trial, local news outlet KY3 reported.
“In his last trial, he argued that his mental state did not meet the criteria for first-degree murder,” his public defender, Tyler Coyle, told the station.
“The jury would only have found him guilty of second-degree murder.”
