In an interview on the EveryNightNights podcast, the regional Mexican singer gave details of a love affair she had with a woman that lasted about a year.

“Yes, I kissed a woman, I actually had a girlfriend,” he said. “I was with her for about a year and I feel like she stimulated my mind and that was what I needed at the time. And that’s the thing about my mother, she didn’t agree with that. She had a lot of gay people around her. I was very open-minded but in a traditional way because my whole family was or is Christian,” he said.
“So I broke up, but I’ve always said it, I’m 20 percent gay, that’s the truth,” he added.
He also joined the comment of the moderator, rapper and influencer ClaudiaMadrid, better known as Snow That Product, that women are beautiful. “I love her,” Chiquis said.
Rivera said she doesn’t like seeing handsome men in nightclubs, but she does like seeing women.
