The 26-year-old model limited who can comment on her social media posts on Friday after receiving backlash for appearing to shadow Selena Gomez.
“Cheerio💘,” Bieber captioned a series of photos on Instagram that only people she follows can now comment on.
The decision comes just a day after Gomez also decided to take a step back from social media amid the “stupid” drama.
“I’m going to take a second off social media because that’s a little silly and I’m 30,” the singer said in a TikTok Live. “I’m too old for this.”
“I love you guys so much and I’ll see you guys sooner than later. I just need to take a break from everything.”

The drama began after Gomez, who overtook Kylie Jenner as the most followed woman on Instagram, opened up about her recent brow lamination failure.
The next day, Jenner posted a screenshot from a FaceTime call where Bieber zoomed in on her eyebrows, alongside another selfie in which she wrote, “This is embarrassing???” across her forehead.
Soon after, fans took to social media to say Jenner would be shadowing the Rare Beauty founder — but both women were quick to try and shut down speculation.

“That’s enough. No shade towards Selena and I didn’t see her eyebrows,” Jenner, 25, commented below a video explaining the situation. “You guys make something out of nothing.”
Gomez also chimed in, saying she “agrees” with the makeup mogul and that any rumors are “unnecessary.”
However, things took a turn for the worse after a video of Hailey, who is married to the actress’ ex, Justin Bieber, resurfaced online.

In the clip, the Rhode founder gagged after hearing the “Midnights” singer’s name while he was hosting “Drop the Mic.”
Gomez was quick to defend Swift in the comments, writing, “Sorry my best friend is and always will be one of the best in the game.”

Feuding rumors between the two ladies began almost five years ago after 28-year-old Justin Hailey proposed just four months after he and Gomez called it quits.
The ‘Only Murders in the Building’ star dated the ‘Believe’ singer for eight years.
