When she was about her YouTube series Who’s in My Bathroom? and skincare brand Rhode, she explained that she wanted the show to reach her fans through the video-sharing site, as opposed to a streamer or broadcast network, so she was “in control.”
Speaking with the show’s co-creator, Michael D. Ratner, she said, “I wanted to do it on YouTube because I wanted to be able to control the content.
“I think sometimes it happens when there’s too many people involved and a lot of voices telling you that you should do this or we want you to do it that way, it doesn’t feel like it’s yours and me really wanted to own it.’

Earlier this year, Hailey legally acquired the rights to name her skincare company Rhode.
The influencer was victorious after being sued for trademark infringement by a clothing company called Rhode, TMZ reported.
The founders of the eight-year-old company, which was founded in New York but is based in Los Angeles, argued that having two companies with the same name would be confusing to the public.
A RHODE spokesman told : “Our lawsuit continues. [The] Court decision is simply a decision by the judge not to ban Hailey Bieber’s skincare line from using our brand name while the litigation proceeds and to defer the decision until we have an opportunity to gather more evidence.
“It’s extremely rare for a judge to grant the injunction that we’re asking for, so we expected that outcome. We are confident that we will win the process. Rhode is our name and trademark, we built it, and federal and state laws protect it. We ask Hailey to achieve her goals without using the brand name that we have built over the past nine years.’
Celebrities like Beyoncé, Rihanna, Tracee Ellis Ross, Khloé Kardashian, Busy Philipps, Jamie Chung, Whitney Port, Zoey Deutch and many others have worn her designs. The company recently launched a collection of homewares on its shoprhode.com website.
