Halle Bailey gave her fans a glimpse of a message she received from a Delta pilot that nearly brought her to tears on Twitter on Sunday.
The talented actress, 22, uploaded a photo of a short letter that was handwritten to her personally.
In the “lovely note,” the pilot thanked the rising star for his “inspiration,” adding that it was an “honor” to have her on the flight.

In the photo, Halle held the note in her left hand to perfectly show her fans and followers the kind words.
The Delta pilot told the adult actress, “It’s an honor to have you on board today.”
“Thank you for being an inspiration to little brown girls around the world just like we were a few years ago.”
The pilot then signed her own name and added, “Your young Latina Delta pilot.”

Halle added to the Twitter post, “This amazing pilot on the plane gave me this lovely note today,” followed by a tearful face and red heart emojis.
The talented star also shared the letter on her Instagram story, adding the short caption, “Real tears.”
The actress will star in the upcoming live-action remake of the popular Disney animation The Little Mermaid. The film is scheduled to premiere next year on May 26, 2023.
During a recent interview with Variety, Halle discussed taking on the role of Ariel.
“I want the little girl in me and the little girls like me who are watching to know that they are special and that they should be a princess in every way,” the actress explained.

The anticipated film’s director, Rob Marshall, expressed that the actress gave her all in portraying Ariel, Variety reported.
“Halle had this incredible ability to dig deep, to find the truth about Ariel’s passion and heart,” said the filmmaker. “It was like watching a great movie actor being born.”
During an interview with Essence, Halle revealed that she enjoys acting but that her “first love is music.”
“It’s where I feel most free, but it’s also been a really nice experience of acting,” added the star.
