Hamas Attack on Israel: The Kibbutz of Kfar Aza and Beeri, Scenes of a Real “Massacre”

International journalists and Israeli soldiers discovered entire families decimated and the bodies of decapitated children in these small villages near the Gaza border.

“I have never seen anything like this in my entire life.” Four days after Hamas began its terrorist attacks in Israel, IDF soldiers and international journalists discovered the horror that struck the two kibbutz Kfar Aza and Beeri in the Hebrew state early Saturday morning A few kilometers from the border, the Gaza Strip shook. The two places were taken over by the Islamist group, which left only corpses behind.

As Portal reported, this Tuesday the foreign press was given permission by the Israel Defense Forces to enter the kibbutz of Kfar Aza, which has regained control in recent days. “I have never seen anything like this in my entire life. You can see the babies, the mothers, the fathers, in their rooms, in their shelters and how the terrorists killed them, Israeli Major Itai Virov told the news agency. It’s not a war, it’s not a battlefield. It’s a massacre, it’s a terrorist activity. I have never seen anything like this in my entire life,” he added.

“It smells like death”

Statements confirmed by international journalists, including Maël Benoliel, from i24 News. “It will be extremely difficult for me to describe to you the horror that we have seen (…) We are talking about dozens of houses burned down, where entire families were killed, women and children whose heads were cut off.” Alone here let’s talk about dozens of deaths. “It smells like death here (…) It’s the apocalypse,” he said in shock. Israeli soldiers were busy recovering the bodies of victims and Hamas terrorists from the kibbutz on Tuesday.

Israel’s social networks specified that a total of 40 babies were murdered there by Hamas fighters, some of them beheaded. According to the IDF, 70 Hamas members entered Kfar Aza.

Hundreds dead in Beeri

Not far away, the same horror scenes could be seen in the Beeri kibbutz. According to the NGO Zaka, which took part in collecting the bodies, “more than 100 people” were killed there. “They shot everyone,” “they murdered children, babies, old people, everyone in cold blood,” said Moti Bukjin, the NGO spokesman.

At dawn on Saturday, after crossing the border fence considered impregnable by Israel, hundreds of Hamas fighters stormed into Jewish communities in the south of the country, going from house to house, gunning down citizens or kidnapping them to take them back to the Gaza Strip. Since then, Israel has been bombing the Gaza Strip. The country’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, announced on Monday evening that a “massive attack” was being prepared in retaliation.
