Hamas chief talks about ceasefire in Cairo

The head of radical Islamist Hamas, Ismail Haniya, who lives in Qatar, arrived in Cairo for talks on a possible ceasefire in the war with Israel. Hamas announced this today.

The talks are also expected to include a possible exchange of Israeli hostages for Palestinian prisoners. Among other things, talks are planned with the head of Egyptian intelligence, Abbas Kamel.
