A Hamas official has vowed to repeat the horrific terror attacks on Israel earlier this month “again and again” until the country is completely destroyed, stressing that they have “no place on our land.”
Ghazi Hamad, a member of the militant group’s decision-making political office, warned that the Gaza Strip leadership would repeat the coordinated Oct. 7 attack, which the terrorists dubbed “Operation al-Aqsa Flood,” in which more than 1,400 Israelis were killed killed and about 240 hostages were killed.
“The Al-Aqsa flood is only the first time and there will be a second, a third, a fourth time because we have the resolve, the determination and the skills to fight,” Hamad said in a Lebanese television interview on March 24 October, which was published by British outlets on Wednesday.
Hamad said the terrorist organization was willing to “pay a price.”
“We are called a nation of martyrs and we are proud to sacrifice martyrs,” Hamad said. “Israel is a country that has no place on our land. We must remove this country because it represents a security, military and political disaster for the Arab and Islamic nations and must be dealt with.”
“We have to teach Israel a lesson, and we will do that again and again,” Ghazi Hamad of Hamas said last week.AP
“We are not ashamed to say this emphatically. We have to teach Israel a lesson, and we will do that again and again.”
Hamad said Hamas was “justified” in its attack on Israel, which was founded in 1948 and sparked the Israeli-Arab war and led to the expulsion of Palestinian refugees from the territory.
The narrow Gaza Strip, in which around 2.3 million people live, has been under an Israeli and Egyptian blockade for security reasons since Hamas came to power.
Hamas is classified as a terrorist organization by the United States and the European Union because of its suicide bombings and rocket attacks.

“The existence of Israel causes all this pain, blood and tears,” Hamad said, calling the creation of the Jewish state “illogical.”
“It is Israel, not us. We are the victims of the occupation. Therefore, no one should blame us for the things we do. On October 7th, October 10th, 1,000,000. October – everything we do is justified.”
His comments came before Israel launched a ground attack with the stated aim of wiping out Hamas, which has ruled the Gaza Strip since the overthrow of the Palestinian Authority in 2007.

Nearly 8,800 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces since the war broke out, including 3,648 children, Gaza’s health ministry said on Wednesday.
The ministry is run by Hamas, which the US accuses of inflating the death toll.
