Hamas terrorist group fires rockets again into central Israel G1

Israel rejects a ceasefire and resumes bombing of Gaza

The terrorist group Hamas fired rockets again this Sunday (5) into the central region of Israel. According to the Israeli military, more than eight thousand rockets were fired from Gaza in a month of conflict.

Israel responded to the attack with an intensive bombardment of the city of Gaza and declared that Israeli soldiers must enter the city by land within the next 48 hours (see video report above).

In the center of the Gaza Strip, explosions occurred in Maghazi. According to the Hamas Ministry of Health 52 people died. There is no independent confirmation.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken met with Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah in the West Bank.

Blinken told Abbas that the Palestinian Authority should play a central role in the future government in the Gaza Strip, which is currently controlled by Hamas. The two did not speak to the press after the meeting.

The Palestinian Authority said this in a statement Abbas demanded more pressure from Blinken for a ceasefire this enables help for civilians in Gaza. And the American replied that he was doing everything in his power to restore basic services in the area.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited an air base in southern Israel. He reiterated that there would be no ceasefire until all hostages held by Hamas were released.
