A Hamas terrorist called the mother of two young women who were kidnapped at a music festival and taunted them after they were taken to the Gaza Strip, a family friend said.

Tamar David from Beit Dagan received the shocking call on Sunday morning from the employee, who apparently got the phone number from one of her daughters, Hodia, 25, and Tair, 27, Mako reported.

“He called Hodia and Tair’s mother Tamar and laughed at the family,” family friend Tal Hezekiah told the news agency in Hebrew, adding that he took the phone from the distraught mother.

“Then the terrorist laughed and said to me in broken Hebrew, ‘Do you want to marry her?’ And hung up,” Hezekiah added

The friend said he passed details of the shocking call to Israel’s Shin Bet intelligence agency.

“He hasn’t called his mother’s phone since,” Hezekiah told Mako.

The sisters were among hundreds of young Israelis who attended the Tribe of Nova music festival near Kibbutz Reim as Hamas launched its attack against the Jewish state.

One of the sisters called their father as they fled to tell him there had been gunfire at the rave. But they went missing a short time later and have not been heard from since.

“They told their father that they had been shot at and one of them might have been injured. It’s not clear to us,” Hezekiah said.

“There was a video that was uploaded on social media and in one of the segments we saw Hodia for a few seconds as she was kidnapped and held in Gaza,” he told the outlet.

“They were taken away in a jeep or vehicle along with several other young people who were kidnapped at the party,” the friend added.

At least 260 people died in the festival, which witnesses described as a “massacre.”

It was unclear how many people were kidnapped by the terrorists.

By Monday morning, the Israeli death toll from the attack rose to at least 800, with more than 2,000 injured.

More than 400 people were killed in Gaza.
