Hamas’s armed wing, the Qassam Brigades, is threatening to execute an Israeli hostage “for every Israeli bombing,” it said in a statement sent to Al Jazeera.

Qatar’s 24-hour news channel reported late in Israel local time that the Jewish state’s army was carrying out intensive attacks on Gaza.
“Any attack on innocent civilians without warning will unfortunately result in the execution of one of the prisoners we are holding, and we will be forced to broadcast this execution,” Hamas spokesman Abu Obeida said, adding that the terrorist organization “regrets this Decision.”
