Harrison Ford received the Career Achievement Award at the Critics Choice Awards and gave a heartfelt speech.

“I'm really happy to be here tonight [and] to see what happens to our business,” said Ford, accepting his award after a standing ovation from the audience. “And all the talented people who are getting opportunities that probably wouldn’t have existed when I started my career. I’m really happy about that.”

The Star Wars alum said he was “extremely lucky” for the honor and thanked his “lovely wife” Calista Flockhart, who was visibly moved and had tears in her eyes.

Ford noted that his wife “supports me when I need a lot of support – and I need a lot of support.”

“I'm grateful to all the great actors – I see many of them here tonight – with whom I've worked, and I'm deeply fortunate to have had the opportunities I've had,” he continued. “Thank you, I won’t take up any more of your time.”
