The Duke of Sussex has described how “terrifying” it was to have his brother, the Prince of Wales, yell and yell at him at the Sandringham summit in front of the Queen during the Megxit crisis.
Reflecting on the encounter in the final installment of the Sussexes’ controversial Netflix documentary, Harry said: “It was terrifying having my brother yelling and yelling at me and my father saying things that just weren’t true and my grandmother sitting there calmly and absorb everything.”
The Duke’s claim is one of many revelations outlined in recent episodes of the couple’s docuseries, in which the pair also addressed the media’s treatment of Meghan and her mental health struggles during their time as senior royals.
Recent episodes also included lighter moments as the couple poked fun at the size of Nottingham Cottage, the residence in the grounds of Kensington Palace where they lived temporarily after their royal wedding.
Both Buckingham Palace and Kensington Palace declined to comment on the latest episodes, with the royal family reuniting for the Princess of Wales’ second annual Christmas carol concert on Thursday night.

There were also moments when the couple looked back on their time as senior royals with anger and sadness.
In one scene, the Duke and Duchess reflected on the moment when it seemed Meghan’s popularity would prove to be a problem in the royal family, with the series detailing her and Harry’s concerns after she took the place of the Queen on the cover of a newspaper had appeared.
“The problem is, when someone who marries in, who’s supposed to be a support act, then steals the limelight or does the job better than the person who was born to do it, it upsets people, it shifts the balance.” Prince Harry said about the crucial moment.

The View co-host Whoopi Goldberg also argued that the rift between Harry and his brother Prince William was for them alone to resolve.
“Family is family and they will find out,” she said. “These aren’t boys. It’s two men. They are not children. So they have to make up their own stuff. Charles can’t fix this for you.”
Goldberg made the suggestion while admitting she hadn’t watched the Sussexes’ docuseries because she had “other things on her mind.”

Reaction to the six-hour docuseries was largely divided, with many applauding the Sussexes for telling their story while others accused the pair of rehashing old arguments.
The View hosts were at odds over the docuseries on Thursday’s episode of the talk show, with Joy Behar questioning why the couple hasn’t stepped out of the spotlight given the treatment of Meghan and Prince Harry’s mother, Princess Diana.
“You’d think, after his mother was basically a victim of the paparazzi and all the attention she was getting everywhere, that he’d shy away from all of that,” Behar said.

Elsewhere in the series, Prince Harry reflected on some of the things he misses about the royal family, including the time they spent together as a family.
“I miss the weird family gatherings when we all get together under one roof for a certain time of the year. I miss that,” he admitted.

While the couple have made a slew of shocking claims in recent episodes, volume two also included sweet glimpses into their relationship, with the Duke and Duchess sharing a series of never-before-seen photos from the early days of their marriage when they were living in Nottingham Cottage.
One photo showed Meghan dancing in the doorway, while another showed Prince Harry painting his temporary home.
The couple shared the photos while reflecting on their time spent in the “little” cottage.

The timing of the racism row coincided with the release of the first three episodes of the Sussexes docuseries earlier this month.
It was also discovered at the time that the Duchess of Sussex had her own history with Lady Susan, as the palace aide was tasked with helping Meghan adjust to royal life before and after her and Prince Harry’s royal wedding.
However, Lady Susan reportedly had doubts about the couple as she allegedly once claimed the Sussexes’ marriage would “end in tears”.
