America’s enthusiasm for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex was squeezed after their series of bombshell interviews, a royal expert has claimed the pair lacked decency.
As Prince Harry, 38, and Megan Markle celebrate three years since beginning their new life in California this month, journalist Kinsey Schofield said the couple have now been “snubbed by Hollywood”.
Speaking to Fox News Digital, the royal correspondent said: “I think Harry and Meghan expected more support from Hollywood than they’ve received recently.”
The Duke of Sussex’s Netflix docuseries and bombshell memoir Spare have been released in recent months.
She continued, “I think Harry and Meghan had an amazing opportunity to rise up and actually be Hollywood royalty, but their grace makes people think twice about union.”
America’s infatuation with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex is waning, according to a royal expert who claimed the pair are being “snubbed” by Hollywood after their bombastic revelations.
Express.co.uk speculated that the couple thought they would be welcomed by Hollywood, but Harry’s claims about the royal family have prevented that.
Harry and Meghan were not invited to any of the 2023 BAFTA events, with claims they were “not welcome” at the 2023 BAFTA Tea Part, which took place in Los Angeles last month.
However, the Prince and Princess of Wales were present at the main event in London and royal fans were thrilled to see the couple on the red carpet.
However, Harry and Meghan are said to be getting fewer invites to glamorous events as A-listers fear they’ll be the center of attention.
It has been speculated that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle expected more support from their Hollywood friends when they moved to California three years ago. Since the release of their explosive Netflix docu-series, upset by Prince Harry’s memoir spared, Sussexes’ popularity in the US has faded
The couple, previously hugely popular in the US, sank in the polls after Prince Harry launched a new assault on the royal family and revealed a host of intimate details, such as how he lost his virginity to Sasha Walpole.
Prior to publication, Harry had a +38 favorable rating according to a Dec. 5 poll of 2,000 US voters.
That fell to -7 by Jan. 16, pollsters Redfield & Wilton found – while Meghan Markle fell to -13, compared to +23 on Dec. 5.
The lack of reception from the Hollywood industry was further fueled by Sussex’s inclusion in the satirical cartoon South Park.
An episode aired last month showing the “Prince and Princess of Canada” – a young royal couple who are vocal about their privacy while commanding attention.

Wearing the exact same dusty pink outfit Meghan donned for Trooping the Color in 2018, the red-haired prince and his wife are seen promoting the prince’s book – Waaagh – the cover of which closely resembles Harry’s memoir Spare.
The episode is full of digs at the Sussexes, with main character Stan calling their cartoon equivalents “dumb prince and his dumb wife,” while Kyle complains about the private jet parked outside their home.
Kinsey Schofield told GB News: “What they’re saying is these two aren’t genuine people, they’re saying they want their privacy as they go on every TV show, write books and do six hours of Netflix.
“They broke it down and said… they’re not very likable… people are sick of them.”
TV presenter Nick Ede, who claimed to have had a friendship with the Duchess of Sussex, 41, before she met Harry, claimed the couple were unaware they would not be accepted as “Hollywood royalty” when they moved to California pulled.
Speaking to express.co.uk, he said: “They’re really quite down that pecking order and I think that was a problem with them, in a sense that they’re stepping down.
“I think the thing is, you forget that royalty in Hollywood isn’t someone with a title.
“It’s JLo, it’s Sharon Sone, it’s Beyoncé, it’s the Kardashians. That is their royalty.”
