Harry Potter star Emma Watson is “enrolling on a £20,000 course at Oxford University to study creative writing” – four years since her last acting role
Emma Watson has swapped Hogwarts for Oxford after reportedly enrolling on a part-time course at the city’s university to study creative writing.
The 33-year-old actress, who rose to fame as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film series, was last seen on screen in 2019’s Little Women, directed by Barbie actress Greta Gerwig.
For the master’s degree, Emma only has to attend a few lectures on site, the rest of her work is done online.
A source told The Sun: “The course is aimed at older adults and can be completed part-time, which suits Emma’s schedule perfectly.”
“She only needs to be on site four to five days a year as she can complete the rest of the course online from home.”

The publication also reported that university staff were warned that the actress would be attending classes with a small security team for her own safety.
According to its website, the college is providing £20,000 for the two-year course, which also includes two guided retreats and a research internship.
