‘Jeff… are you ready to get married?’ Harry Styles helps his girlfriend propose to his girlfriend after requesting a duet with the singer as Love On Tour arrives in the Philippines

Harry Styles played Cupid again Tuesday night by helping a fan propose to his girlfriend as his latest tour landed in the Philippines.

The former One Direction star was on stage for his only show at the Philippine Arena venue in Bulacan Province when he was distracted by a boldly waving crowd at the 55,000 capacity venue.

Styles, 29, was reading signs held up by fans in the VIP booth near the stage when one thing caught his eye.

Delivering his message to the packed stadium, he read: “Harry! Boyfriend says he’ll propose to you if you do a duet with him.”

The news prompted an inevitable wave of cheers from fans as the singer paused to ask the couple their names before shouting: “Make some noise for Michelle and Jeff!”

Addressing the audience, he added: “Everybody wants to get married tonight. Who wants to get married tonight?’

Styles – who has performed similar stunts at previous concerts on his mammoth world tour – then turned his attention back to the couple hopeful.

“Jeff, are you ready to get married?” he asked. “Michelle, are you ready? Are you sure? Yes? What do you want to sing, Jeff?’

When Jeff recommended Sign Of The Times, the singer’s debut single, he was promptly given a microphone and encouraged to sing along as the first few bars of the song rang out.

Styles turned to Jeff’s girlfriend midway through and asked, “Are you going to marry him Michelle?”

The question prompted Jeff to temporarily stop singing and formally propose in front of the watching singer.

As the arena cheered, Styles recorded the song and tailored a few lines for the newly engaged couple, singing, “Michelle will marry Jeff, Michelle will marry Jeff.”

Styles has previously helped fans make suggestions and even come out publicly during his current tour, which concludes in July.

Whilst performing in Brisbane in March, the British singer helped another young man propose to his girlfriend during the show.

The star interrupted his concert halfway through the set to give Stevan Filiposki a mic so he could propose to Connie Morrison.

A concert-goer shared a clip of the incredible moment on TikTok, with the video going viral and garnering more than 193,000 likes.

The couple later revealed on Australian breakfast show Sunrise that they held up a sign to get his attention and that he dedicated his song Cinema to them after the proposal.
