As part of the activity carried out at the National Institute of Oncology and Radiology, 108 employees were recognized and promoted who participate in the care of patients with this pathology.
This Friday, October 20, the National Institute of Oncology and Radiology hosted the central event for the World Day to Fight Breast Cancer, chaired by doctors Carlos Alberto Martínez Blanco, Head of the Cancer Department of the Ministry of Public Health; Doctor Iván Silveira, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Medical Sciences Manuel Fajardo and Director of the Institution, Doctor Luis Eduardo Martín Rodríguez.
Martín Rodríguez gave a keynote lecture on the Functional Breast Unit, founded in 2018, and the benefits it offers for patient care.
The activity recognized and promoted 108 staff involved in the care of patients with this pathology.
The closing remarks were given by Doctor Martínez Blanco.
