Mel, who had been dating the spin bowler for a decade, was “devastated”. The former couple have two daughters together, Harper and Milla.
In a blog post in March 2018, she described her heartbreaking breakup and recounted nights she lay in bed with her children and cried.
“I didn't ask for this, this wasn't how my life was supposed to be.” “He was my life forever, he was my whole world,” she wrote.

“Until the end, I was 100 percent committed to our life and loved every part of it and our world.” It was like a bomb, it exploded from behind.
“I had to deal with it [it] in a very public, humiliating and confronting way. A part of me died.'
Since then, Emma and Nathan have tried to keep their relationship secret.
They tried to keep their engagement a secret before getting married in July last year and even managed to hide Emma's recent pregnancy through strategic outfit choices.
The couple recently spoke about their new bundle of joy for the first time.
Interviewed by former Australian pace bowler Trent Copeland after the cricket star took his 500th Test wicket against Pakistan on Sunday, Emma opened up about her new arrival and life at home ahead of the Test.
“We had a baby, I don't know, it was a lot, rehab, the Ashes, India – it was non-stop,” she said.
“Having him home for a few months was really nice, but not on these terms.”
“Seeing him out there today is just incredible.”
The couple remained very private from the start, and as their relationship developed into an engagement, they tried to keep their July 2022 wedding out of the press
